Beth Roeder-Zimmerman, known as Beth Roeder during her career with the Huskies, was a seven-time All-American for the women's swimming team at Bloomsburg. She earned four All-American honors in individual events and three as a member of a relay team. She also earned five honorable mention All-American awards at the NCAA championships. Roeder's highest individual finish at the NCAA championships was second in the 200 fly in 1988 in a school-record time of 2:04.40, a mark that still stands today. She also finished fourth as a junior in 1987 in the 100 fly in 58.18 seconds.
At the PSAC championships, Roeder took home three individual titles and one relay championship in her career and helped the Huskies to four, second-place finishes at the PSAC championships. At the time of her graduation Roeder held two individual records (100 and 200 fly) and was part of the record-holding 400-medley relay team.
