Lindy (Altadonna) McKinney is one of the most decorated defenders for the Bloomsburg lacrosse team. She helped the Huskies to back-to-back Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) runner-up finishes during her junior and senior seasons.
During her career, McKinney collected several All-American honors from the United States Women's Lacrosse Association (USWLA) and the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). As a defender, she was a three-time First Team All-American by both organizations following the 1997, 1998, and 1999 seasons. McKinney was a three-time First Team All-PSAC Defender during that season as well.
McKinney finished her career with seven goals and eight assists for 15 points as one of the nation's top defenders. She was a team co-captain in her senior season. She was a shutdown defender who was consistently blanketing the opponents' top-scoring threat.
The Huskies compiled a 28-24 record during her four years on the field and posted an 11-11 record in PSAC contests. Bloomsburg finished with a winning record in three of her four seasons and made a trip to the PSAC championship game in back-to-back seasons.
