In wrestling, Rohm was a major contributor in helping establish Bloomsburg as a national power. He was a third-place finisher in 1957 at the Pennsylvania Conference Championships and recorded a runner-up showing in 1958. In 1959, he won his first conference title, a feat he would duplicate his senior season. In addition, the 157 pounder captured the NAIA national title as a senior. During his wrestling career, the Huskies lost just two dual meets.
On the baseball team, Rohm played both second base and outfield and was named to the All-Conference team as a senior. Following his graduation, Rohm went on to a successful career as a high school wrestling and football coach.
