LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Bloomsburg men's cross country team finished 16th at the Lock Haven Invitational Saturday morning.
The Huskies efforts on the course were led by Caden Dufrene (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run) and Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area). Dufrene finished his 8K race in a time of 26:04.08 for 56th place. Riley finished close behind his teammate, crossing the line at 26:06.1, just under a second off his collegiate-best time in the distance in 58th overall.Â
Sophomore Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) continued his improvement in his second season after finishing the race with a career-best time in the 8K distance after reaching the finish in 27:09.0.Â
The Bloomsburg freshmen established their places in scoring positions for the squad. Freshman Tyler Shunk (Fredericksburg, Pa./Northern Lebanon) also set a career-best time at the distance with a time of 27:32 at the finish. Rich Loughran (Ottsville, Pa./Pennridge) joined in the trend of career-best times after posting a 27:53.0 mark in the race.Â
To round out the five Huskies to have personal-best races, freshmen Ellis Aikey (/) and Brackton Parrish (Charlotte, N.C./William Amos Hough) wrapped up the point scorers for the Huskies after posting respective career-top marks of 29:34.1 and 29:40.2.

The Bloomsburg men's cross country team is back in action on Saturday, October 12, at 10:45 a.m. for the Lewis Crossover in Romeoville, Ill.
