LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Four members of the Bloomsburg softball team were named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East All-Conference, announced by the league office. The team had two players named in both the first and second team.

Senior Taylor Kranzley (Northampton, Pa./Northampton) earned her first first-team recognition in her final season as the Huskies' primary second baseman. The Northampton, Pa. native led the team in hits (55) and runs scored (38) while starting in all 46 games. She ended the season with a .344 batting average with a .418 on-base percentage.

She was even better within the conference as she batted .364 on 110 at-bats. She also recorded 30 runs on 40 hits within the PSAC.

Freshman Jenna Kaufman (Audubon, Pa./Methacton) made a monstrous first impression in her first collegiate season by joining Kranzley on the PSAC All-Conference First Team. She earns this as a utility non-pitcher as she was Bloomsburg's usual designated player turned third baseman towards the end of the year.

The Audubon, Pa. native led the team in batting average with a .356. She also recorded 42 hits, 22 RBIs, and two homers on the season. Within the conference, she had 35 hits and 17 RBIs.

Sophomore Allie Wenrich (Dauphin, Pa./Central Dauphin) makes her all-conference debut as she was named on the second team as an outfielder. Wenrich was second in the PSAC in home runs with 15. She also made the top ten in the conference in slugging percentage (.733), OPS (1.158) and RBIs (43).

The Dauphin, Pa. native recorded 44 hits and 35 runs scored with a .336 batting average on the season. Within the conference, she was tied for first in RBIs with 26 and second in batting average with .348. She also was named PSAC East Athlete of the Week two times throughout the season.

Junior Josie Straigis (Greensburg, Pa./Greater Latrobe) joins Wenrich on the second team as a utility pitcher. Straigis recorded 46 hits, 32 RBIs and a career high 10 home runs (top 10 in the PSAC).

Within the conference, the Greensburg, Pa. had a .371 batting average with 23 runs scored. She was also named PSAC East Athlete of the Week once this season.
