Junior defender Natalie Holmes helped the women's soccer to a 2-0 week by notching a goal and an assist and limiting then-#21 East Stroudsburg and Lock Haven to five total shots on goal in the two games. Holmes scored Bloomsburg's first goal on Wednesday night - her second goal of the season - at East Stroudsburg just seven minutes into the rematch against the Warriors. Just over four minutes later, Holmes assisted on what proved to be the game-winning goal as her corner kick found junior Mackenzie Gebhardt who gave the Huskies a 2-0 advantage. Bloomsburg went on to win 2-1 to even the season series. Then in Saturday's 3-0 win over Lock Haven, Holmes did not factor in the scoring but helped a defensive unit that allowed only two shots on goal - one of which came in the last second of regulation. Holmes has two goals and an assist for five points this season.
