Senior Becca Cubbler posted four NCAA "B" swims in four events as she helped the Huskies to a seventh-place finish at the Division I heavy Zippy Invitational hosted by the University of Akron over the weekend. She finished with five season-best times including a 52.24 in her leg of the 400-yard free relay. Her "B" cuts came in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.69), the 500-yard freestyle (4:53.82), the 1000-yard freestyle (10:24.60), and the 1650-yard freestyle (17:10.79). She placed fourth overall in the 500, ninth in the 1650, and 11th in the 200.
Cubbler currently ranks fifth in the country in the 500, 17th in the 1650, 20th in the 1000, and 25th in the 200. She was a three-time All-American last season and looks to repeat her performance this year.
