Redshirt senior Christian Mortellite helped the Huskies to a 2-1 record over the last three contests by averaging 22.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists during the stretch. Over the three games, Mortellite shot 21-of-40 (52.5%), 9-of-17 from three-point range (52.9%), and 15-of-17 (88.2%) from the foul line. Back on December 30, Mortellite scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a road win at Lock Haven. He then scored 24 points and pulled down eight rebounds at Kutztown on January 3 before recording his fourth double-double of the season with 26 points and 10 rebounds in a home win over Cheyney on Saturday. Mortellite is fourth in the PSAC in scoring (22.3 ppg) and tied for seventh in the PSAC in rebounding (8.4 rpg) this season. With 1,751 career points, Mortellite needs 28 points to move into second place on the school's all-time scoring list.
