Sophomore Courtney Hubric of the women's swimming team picked up an NCAA "B" cut in the 50-yard freestyle during Saturday's PSAC Invitational with a time of 23.78. She finished second overall in the event and is now ranked 32nd in the country with her season-opening time. Hubric also finished fourth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.63 earlier in the meet. Later in the afternoon, Hubric swam a personal-best time of 1:59.92 in the 200-yard freestyle to finish sixth in the event and then took second in the 100-yard butterfly after touching the wall in 1:01.43. It was the swimming team's first competition against outside opponents in more than a year.
