Sophomore Khary Mauras averaged 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 9.5 assists, and 4.0 steals during a 1-1 week for the Huskies. He also finished the two games with a 19:2 assist-turnover ratio. Mauras' highlight of the week came on Saturday when he registered what is believed to be the program's first-ever triple-double during the 85-77 victory over Lock Haven. He finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists (one turnover) while adding three steals in 38 minutes of action. The rebound and assist totals were career-highs while his 21 points was one shy of his career-best. It was the 19th triple-double in Division II this season and just the second by a PSAC player. His historic accomplishment came on the heels of his first career double-double on Wednesday in the Huskies' five-point loss to Kutztown. In that game, Mauras had 12 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists while adding a career-high five steals.
For the year, Mauras is averaging 13.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in his first season with the Huskies.
