Alyssa Mack led the Huskies to a 2-0 week, extending the team's winning streak to four straight games, by averaging 19.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in victories at Cheyney on Wednesday and at home against Millersville on Saturday. Mack scored a game-high 22 points (9-of-14 FG) and pulled down a career-high eight rebounds in the Huskies' 60-53 victory at Cheyney on Wednesday. She added four assists (zero turnovers) and scored 14 of her points in the second half. On Saturday, Mack poured in 17 points (6-of-10 FG), grabbed five rebounds, and had three assists in an 82-71 home win against Millersville.
Mack, who entered the week shooting just 35.2% from the field, went 15-of-24 (62.5%) from the floor in the two victories and went 3-of-5 (60.0%) from long range. She also came in to the week averaging less than two rebounds a game before averaging 6.5 boards in the two wins. For the season, Mack leads the team in scoring (9.6 ppg) and is averaging 2.3 rebounds per game.
