Playing in his first season in a Huskies' uniform, sophomore Trey Orner posted consecutive shutouts as the Huskies blanked Shepherd on the road and Bloomfield at home to start the season with a 2-0 record. Orner stopped three shots in the Huskies' 2-0 win at Shepherd on Thursday and then made five saves in a 1-0 victory over Bloomfield on Saturday. Orner is tied for the conference lead in goals against average, save percentage, and shutouts while ranking tied for fourth in saves per game through the first week of the season.
