Freshman Matthew Kachelries posted career-highs in points (18), steals (4), and blocked shots (3) as he helped the Huskies to an 86-67 victory over Holy Family on Tuesday, November 21, in the team's only game last week. The blocks were the first of his career and he entered with three total steals through the first four games. His previous high in points was 10 against Penn State Hazleton in the season opener. The freshman tied a career-high with 28 minutes played and went 6-of-13 from the field, 2-of-4 from three-point range, and 4-of-5 from the foul line. He also tied a career-high with three rebounds in the victory. Through five games, Kachelries is averaging 6.8 points and 2.4 rebounds.
