Sophomore Lauren Hoelke was named the 2018 PSAC Women's Soccer Tournament's Most Valuable Player as she assisted on three goals in three games to lift the seventh-ranked women's soccer team to the 2018 PSAC Championship - the program's first conference championship since the 2002 season. Hoelke had an assist in Tuesday's 4-1 quarterfinal victory over Slippery Rock and then assisted on both Bloomsburg goals, including the overtime game-winner, in the Huskies' 2-1 win over East Stroudsburg to give the Huskies the title and an automatic bid into the NCAA Division II tournament. She now has 11 assists on the season which is tied for fifth-most in school history but just one shy of tying the school record currently held by four different players.
