Junior Taylor Montana led the Huskies to a perfect 2-0 week and sole possession of first place in the PSAC Eastern Division by averaging 18.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks in the two victories. Montana scored a career-high 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in just 25 minutes in the Huskies' 77-58 win over Lock Haven on Wednesday night. She scored 17 points in the third quarter alone to help the Huskies build a 27-point advantage. It was her third double-double of the season. On Saturday, Montana scored nine points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and blocked a career-high six shots in the 77-71 win over Kutztown in a battle for first place. For the week, Montana was 11-of-20 (55.0%) from the field and was 15-of-18 (83.3%) from the foul line in the two wins (she entered the week as a 57.1% foul shooter). Montana is averaging 12.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks. She had 10 blocks through the first 12 games before recording eight total blocks during the week.
