Junior Willy Girard went a perfect 2-0 this week as he led the Huskies to a 1-1 record including the program's first victory over Edinboro since the 2012-13 season on Friday night at the Nelson Field House. Girard started the dual against Edinboro off on the right foot for the Huskies with a pin of Arick Shankles in 2:14 to give Bloomsburg a 6-0 lead. It was his 13th win of the season and his second via pinfall. Then, on Sunday, Girard gave Bloomsburg a 3-0 advantage at Clarion with a 6-0 decision over Gavin Park. Girard did not give up a point in the two matches and improved to 14-8 overall on the year. He improved to 5-2 in dual competition this season.
