EAST STROUDSBURG-No. 1-ranked Bloomsburg University defeated No. 3-ranked East Stroudsburg 4-0 in PSAC East field hockey action on Friday afternoon.

The Huskies (15-1, 6-1) scored quickly when senior Maggey Bloskey (Danville, Danville) found the back of the net on a penalty corner from junior Aime Sgarlat (Dallas, Lake Lehman) and senior Chelsea Due (Pen Argyl, Pen Argyl) 2:17 into the game. Sophomore Amanda Riley (Tannersville, Pocono Mountain East) scored her 18th goal of the season with less than seven minutes left in the first half on a pass from senior Breanne Tobin (Perkasie, Pennridge).
