ERIE-The number one-ranked Bloomsburg University field hockey team ended the regular season with a 3-0 win over Mercyhurst College on Sunday.

The Huskies scored just 1:15 into game when Amanda Riley (Tannersville, Pocono Mountain East) scored unassisted, then made it 2-0 when Alexis Weber (Bear, DE, William Penn) took a Maggey Bloskey (Danville, Danville) pass and scored at the 15:07 mark.

In the second half the Huskies got their third and final goal when Erin Hench (Loysville, West Perry) scored on a penalty corner to make the final 3-0.

Bloomsburg, 18-1, will begin its quest for a PSAC championship on Friday at Shippensburg. The Huskies will be the number one seed from the East.
