LOCK HAVEN--The Bloomsburg University men's cross country team 12th at the PSAC championships on Saturday at Lock Haven University.
Freshman
Nick Libbi (West Chester/West Chester East) led the way for the Huskies finishing in 45th in 26:25 for the 8k course. Bloomsburg's second finisher was
Kyle Phillips (Waynesboro/Waynesboro) in 68th place in 27:08, while
Andrew Morgan (Ulysses/Northern Potter) was 77th in 27:33. Junior
Nick Patton (Canton/Canton), the Huskies top runner all season, had an off day and faded to fourth for the team finishing 78th in 27:37. Rounding out the top five for Bloomsburg was
Mike Hookham (Middlesex, NJ/Middlesex) in 27:44.
"Despite a team finish outside the top 10 most of our guys had season-best times," said coach
Bernie Empie. " With four freshman in the top six for the team the future looks bright for the group."
