Men's Cross Country Team Fifth at Philadelphia Meet

PHILADELPHIA--The Bloomsburg University men's cross country team finished fifth at the Jack St. Clair Cross Country Championship held at Philadelphia's Belmont Plateau.

The Huskies, competing without their number one runner, Nick Patton (Canton/Canton), finished in 5th with 123 points.  Division One and nationally ranked Villanova scored 17 points to win the mens crown.  The top four runners across the line for Bloomsburg were freshman, lead by Nick Libbi (West Chester/West Chester East) in 14th at 28:46.  He was followed closely by Kyle Phillips (Waynesboro/Waynesboro) in 15th at 28:56.  Rounding out the top 5 were Andrew Morgan (Ulysses/Northern Potter) in 29th at 29:53, Aaron Lichtenwalter (Macungie/Emmaus) in 34th and at 30:13, and Evan Makuvek (Kresgeville/Pleasant Valley) in 45th at 30:52.
