EAST STROUDSBURG—Jaclyn Beasley (Berlin, NJ/Eastern)'s goal in the 72nd minute of play lifted the Bloomsburg University field hockey team to a 1-0 win over East Stroudsburg on Saturday afternoon.
 
Bloomsburg held the edge in shots on goal in the first half, 11-4, and the second half, 8-7, but could not find the back of cage against the Warrior's goalie Sarah Dobroskey.
 
In the extra session Beasley's shot, the second of the overtime for the Huskies, got past Dobroskey for the game winner.
 
Bloomsburg goalie Megan Eppley (Camp Hill/Camp Hill) made three saves to earn the victory and shutout.
 
The win was the 44th victory in the series with East Stroudsburg in 49 meetings the Huskies, now 12-4, 6-2 in the PSAC.

Bloomsburg will host Kutztown on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
