Chris Kennedy (Phoenixville/Archbishop Carroll) forced a fumble to end the potential threat which was jumped on by Pidgeon. BU made the most of the opportunity, driving the field off the arm of Kelly and legs of Mateo. Bloomsburg moved in front 14-0 on a 15-yard Kelly-to-Dickerson touchdown.
Millersville freshman quarterback Connor Casey looked sharp in his first collegiate game.
