SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
The Lady Eagles are seeking to halt a three-game losing streak after opening the year with a win over Wilmington (DE), 82-74, at home on Nov. 9. Since, Lock Haven has dropped decisions to NYIT (91-86), Goldey-Beacom (50-47) and its PSAC East opener vs. Shippensburg (87-75) on Wednesday.
Saturday's game will be the first for Bloomsburg and Lock Haven as divisional rivals after LHU moved to the Eastern Division in July. Lock Haven finished 7-19 and 4-18 in the PSAC West a season ago. The Lady Eagles were dominant on the boards a year ago, however, ranking second in the PSAC in rebounds per game (44.5) and offensive rebounds per game (17.7). Junior Marrysa Moyer leads the Lady Eagles in scoring in the early going this year after pacing the team with 11.5 points per game a season ago in her LHU debut after transferring from Mansfield.
THE BLOOMSBURG-LOCK HAVEN SERIES
Bloomsburg leads, 22-17
The Huskies have won four straight games over Lock Haven including an 80-53 victory last season. Bloomsburg has not played at Lock Haven since the 2008-09 season, winning by a 75-73 score on Jan. 3, 2009. On that day, Lock Haven closed to within a point with nine seconds remaining before a Lauren Healy free throw and block by Kelly Joyce sealed the win in the waning seconds.

Bloomsburg scored an 80-53 win over Lock Haven at Nelson Field House on Jan. 11, 2013.
Kayla Oxenrider (Ashland/Tri-Valley) had a game-high 16 points for the Huskies while
Catherine Noack (Bethlehem/Liberty) added 13 and
Brianna Dudeck (Sugarloaf/Hazleton) tallied six points. Marrysa Moyer paced LHU with 11 points and nine rebounds.
SADOWSKI SCORES
Redshirt sophomore forward
Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) has made the most of her opportunity in the starting lineup, registering impressive offensive numbers in the early-going. Sadowski was especially strong on Wednesday night vs. Millersville as she finished with a career-high 25 points. The total easily surpassed her previous best of 12 points set less than two weeks earlier in the season-opener at Chestnut Hill. Sadowski also turned in a career-high 32 minutes of action on Wednesday and tied a career-high of six rebounds.
ODDS IN THEIR FAVOR
When Bloomsburg travels to Lock Haven on Saturday it will look to even its PSAC East record at 1-1. The Huskies will also try to keep an impressive streak alive – BU has not lost back-to-back games against Eastern Division opponents since Feb. 13-20, 2010 when it dropped three in a row - at West Chester (74-71, OT) and vs. Shippensburg (72-67) and Millersville (56-47).
EARLY SCORING
Just three games into the regular season, the Huskies own the highest scoring offense in the PSAC at 92.0 points per game. West Chester is second at 88.0 points and Clarion third at 84.7 ppg.
AT THE POLLS
Bloomsburg received votes in the first WBCA USA Today Sports Division II Coaches' Top 25 of the regular season, garnering 21 votes in the poll on Tuesday. The Huskies were nationally-ranked for much of last season. Gannon is the only PSAC team ranked in the Top 25 (No. 2). Edinboro and IUP received votes from the PSAC West while Bloomsburg was the only PSAC East team to receive votes.
