BLOOMSBURG – The Bloomsburg University men's and women's basketball teams return to Nelson Field House for two straight home games beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 20. The Huskies will host Mansfield University on Wednesday in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action. The women's game is set to tip at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on WHLM (930-AM) based out of Bloomsburg with Jim Doyle and Larry White calling all the action. In addition, listeners throughout the world can listen to the game live on BU's website at
www.buhuskies.com. The pre-game show will begin 20 minutes before tipoff.
WOMEN
MATCHUP: The Huskies have won three in a row and remain in a tie atop the Eastern Division standings with Millersville. Bloomsburg holds an eight-game winning streak against the Mountaineers including a 53-10 lead in the all-time series. BU hasn't lost to Mansfield since the 2008-09 season at Mansfield, and not at Nelson Field House since the 1984-85 season (82-64).
BU'S LAST TIME OUT: Dana Wieller (Bethlehem/Liberty) scored a team-high 19 points to lead Bloomsburg to a 64-54 win over West Chester. Along with Wieller's 19 points,
Brianna Dudeck (Sugarloaf/Hazleton) came off the bench to score 10 points with Ford scoring nine points for Bloomsburg.
MU'S LAST TIME OUT: Katie Fitzpatrick and Alyssa DeRichie each recorded their first collegiate double-doubles to lead Mansfield to a 75-58 win over Cheyney Saturday afternoon. The win snapped a 10-game losing skid. Fitzpatrick had a game-high 18 points while pulling down 10 rebounds. DeRitchie finished with 12 points and career-best 10 rebounds.

MEN
MATCHUP: The Huskies return to Nelson Field House for the first of two straight home games. They are tied for fifth in the East as Mansfield enters Wednesday tied for seventh. BU defeated Mansfield earlier this season with a game-winning shot by
Jimel Calliste (Brooklyn, NY/Thomas Jefferson Campus) in overtime. BU has won the last three meetings with the Mountaineers and has not lost to MU at Nelson Field House since the 2010-11 season (81-73).
BU'S LAST TIME OUT: Bloomsburg fell to West Chester on Saturday afternoon, 96-75. The Huskies lost two starters to injury with
Dontahe Jordan (Williamsport/Williamsport) and
Zach Sheetz (Landisville/Hempfield) both leaving the game.
Daniel Kusnyer (Wexford/Hillsborough CC) led the Huskies with 15 points, while
Nasir Jones (Philadelphia/Franklin Learning Center) added 12 and Jordan 10 before leaving the game.
MU'S LAST TIME OUT: Joe Bell scored a game-high 26 points but Mansfield couldn't make up a 10-point halftime deficit in dropping an 89-77 decision to Cheyney in a PSAC East game Saturday afternoon. Kevonte McClain scored a career-high 17 points and also had a team-best three steals.
