STORYLINE

(Box Score) On Wednesday, Sept. 18 the Huskies fell to Slippery Rock, 3-2. In the first half of the contest, The Rock's Lauren Geiser started off the scoring, but the Huskies came back with a goal scored by Felicia Domenici (Kunkletown/Pleasant Valley) less than five minutes later. In the second half The Rock came back with a pair of goals scored by Courtney Bradshaw and Gina Smarrelli. Bloomsburg's Brittany Mathews (Reedsville/Indian Valley) ended the scoring of the contest unassisted. Goalkeeper Megan Eppley (Camp Hill/Camp Hill) made five saves in goal for the Huskies.
SCOUTING MANSFIELD
The Mountaineers won in their last time out, upsetting IUP 2-1 in overtime. Senior forward Taryn Schawillie leads the team with eight out of the Mountaineers' 14 goals. Goalkeeper Kristie Rollman has made a whopping 75 saves through five games, playing 313 out of the team's 354 total minutes so far this fall.
LAST MEETING
(Box Score) Bloomsburg will seek revenge after Mansfield came away victorious, 4-2, on Sept. 29, 2012 in Mansfield. The Mountaineers took a 2-0 lead at halftime and never looked back, ultimately taking a 4-0 lead before Brooke Simonovich (East Stroudsburg/Stroudsburg) and Brittany Mathews (Reedsville/Indian Valley) scored second half goals for the Huskies.
