QUICK SIX
- A win Saturday will clinch the PSAC East and give the Huskies their 15th PSAC East Divisional Championship and a spot in the PSAC Championship Game on Nov. 15 for the second straight year.

-Bloomsburg owns a +20 turnover margin this season, the best mark in Division II. Among all divisions (FBS, FCS, Division II, Division III), only Redlands of Division III has a better turnover margin (+21).

-The Huskies have gained 27 turnovers this year – among Division II teams, only Sioux Falls (28) has gained more.

-Bloomsburg's defense has held opponents to 13.8 points per game this year, best in the PSAC and eighth in the nation. Among Super Region One teams, only Shepherd (11.0 points/game) and Winston-Salem State (13.6 points/game) have stingier defenses.

-Eddie Mateo (Bethlehem/Freedom) needs 51 rushing yards to reach 1,000 for the season - it would be his third 1,000 yard season. Bloomsburg has had at least one 1,000-yard rusher every year since 2009.

-The Huskies have won eight straight vs. East Stroudsburg and are 18-3 vs. ESU since 1994.

THE GAME
Bloomsburg and East Stroudsburg enter Saturday after spending last week at opposite ends of the spectrum – the Huskies are fresh off the high of a dominating 41-10 win over then-No. 7 West Chester to earn the inside track to the PSAC Eastern Division crown while East Stroudsburg was upset at home, 31-16, by Kutztown. That loss all but ends ESU's hopes of a PSAC title after entering the year with soaring expectations after being, selected second in the preseason conference coaches poll.

East Stroudsburg still has much to play for, however, with games vs. rivals Bloomsburg and West Chester in the next two weeks. ESU has played its best ball on the road, winning all four games away from home this season – at LIU Post (43-35), Edinboro (47-34), Shippensburg (37-33) and Millersville (35-13). Saturday will pair one of the region's top offenses against one of its top defenses – ESU averages 37.4 points and 491.3 yards per game while the Huskies surrender only 13.8 points and 304.9 yards per contest.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
> 14 - Bloomsburg will honor its senior class of 14 players prior to Saturday's regular season home finale.

> 19-3 - This year's senior class is 19-3 at Redman Stadium since the start of the 2011 season.

> 31 - Last week's 31-point margin of victory over then-No. 7 West Chester represents the largest in Huskies history over a team with as many wins (seven) or as highly ranked as the Golden Rams were entering Week 8.

> 37-6 - This year's senior class has compiled a 37-6 record over the past nearly four seasons. The winningest four-year period in school history is a 41-8 mark posted from 2005-08. Last year's seniors finished with a 39-9 record.

> 44 - Huskies quarterback Tim Kelly (Camp Hill/Cedar Cliff) broke a tie for fourth all-time in BU history by tossing his 44th career touchdown pass last week.

> 100 - The last time the Huskies did not have a 100-yard rusher vs. East Stroudsburg was in 2006 (a 45-37 BU win at home). The Huskies have had 228 yards or more rushing vs. ESU every year since and have topped 300 yards on the ground four times in the last seven meetings.

> 238 - It had been a span of 238 games since the Huskies had a player with three interceptions in a single game (Deric Lynch, 1993 vs. Mansfield) before Jerrin Toomey (York/West York) tallied three picks last week.

> 304.9 - Yards per game of total offense per game allowed by Bloomsburg this season to opponents.

> 491.3 - Yards per game of total offense per game for East Stroudsburg through the first eight weeks.

> 1,463 - Running backs Eddie Mateo (Bethlehem/Freedom) and Dai'Shon Munger (Westampton, NJ/Holy Cross) have combined for 1,463 yards rushing this season (Mateo 949, Munger 514).

> 8,644 - Total career passing yards of ESU junior quarterback Matt Soltes, who is projected to miss Saturday's game due to injury.

IN THE RANKINGS
The Huskies are ranked No. 6 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top 25, No. 7 in the D2football.com Top 25 and No. 1 in the first Super Region One rankings released this week.

TAKEAWAY KINGS
The Huskies defense has created five or more takeaways in four games this season. Bloomsburg had six takeaways in the win over West Chester last week.

HUSKIES RUN WILD VS. RAMS
Bloomsburg had by far its best day on the ground in its 41-10 win over No. 7 West Chester in Week 8, rushing for 454 yards as a team. Since records on the statistic began in 1991, Bloomsburg has rushed for more yards in a single game just five times with the last being a 457-yard output in Week 1 last year vs. Stonehill. Since 1991, the Huskies have rushed for over 400 yards 11 times with the most being 541 yards vs. Cheyney in 2004.

GOING THE EXTRA YARD
Through the first six weeks of the season the Huskies had just three scoring drives of over 70 yards. In the past two victories over Kutztown and West Chester, the Huskies have six scoring drives of over 70 yards - including three touchdown drives of 90+ yards.

MATEO'S CAREER DAY
Senior Eddie Mateo (Bethlehem/Freedom) posted his career-high rushing day Week 8 vs. No. 7 West Chester, recording 269 yards on 22 carries with four touchdowns. His previous career-best came in a 201-yard effort vs. Millersville in 2011 – his career-high for rushing touchdowns is five against Clarion, which is the school record.

The Huskies record for single game rushing is 304 yards – set last year by Franklyn Quiteh (Tobyhanna/Pocono Mountain West) at East Stroudsburg.

Huskies Most Rushing Yards - Single Game
    1.    Franklyn Quiteh (Tobyhanna/Pocono Mountain West) (2013 vs. ESU)    304
    2.    Jerry Marks (1991 vs. Mansfield)    300
    3.    Franklyn Quiteh (Tobyhanna/Pocono Mountain West) (2012 vs. ESU)    282
    4.    Irv Sigler (1997 vs. Lock Haven)    278
    5.    Eddie Mateo (Bethlehem/Freedom) (2014 vs. WCU)    269

TOOMEY SHINES IN FIRST START
Redshirt sophomore safety Jerrin Toomey (York/West York) made his first career start in Week 8 vs. No. 7 West Chester and responded with his first career interception. He followed that up with interceptions Nos. 2 and 3 in a stellar performance, matching the total of interceptions thrown by West Chester quarterback Sean McCartney in 230 attempts during the prior seven games of the year. Toomey, who was named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week for his efforts, became the first Huskies player to have three interceptions in a single game since Deric Lynch did so on Nov. 13, 1993 vs. Mansfield.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES
The Huskies defense has been vastly improved this season – last year the team surrendered an average of 299.2 yards through the air and 389.1 yards of total offense to opponents. BU has been much more stingy this year – through the first eight weeks, the Huskies are allowing just 197.4 yards per game through the air, fourth in the PSAC, and only 304.9 yards of total offense – the lowest mark in the PSAC (IUP is second at 310.1).

HUSKIES TOP DOG IN ECAC POLL
Bloomsburg has moved to number one in the Division II Lambert Meadowlands Football Poll after its 41-10 win over former No. 1 West Chester. California (PA) is second, West Chester third, American International fourth and Slippery Rock fifth this week.

Established in 1936 as the Lambert Trophy to recognize supremacy in Eastern college football, the award has since grown to recognize the best team in the East in the Bowl Subdivision. To be eligible for the Lambert Meadowlands Award, a school must be located in the East or play at least half of its schedule against eligible Lambert teams. The territory includes New York, New Jersey, New England and Pennsylvania, while teams in the bordering states of Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia and the District of Columbia qualify if at least half of their schedule features eligible teams or are Eastern College Athletic Conference member institutions.

MATEO RECOGNIZED BY BRANDO SHOW
Running back Eddie Mateo (Bethlehem/Freedom) was named as the Week 8 "Hambone Award" recipient by the Tim Brando Show after his 269-yard, four touchdown effort vs. West Chester. Brando, a national correspondent for Fox Sports 1, honors the top player from a non-FBS school each week with the "Hambone Award."

GETTING DEFENSIVE
Entering this week's game the Huskies have the top scoring defense in the PSAC, allowing just 13.8 points per game. That tally also ranks eighth in the nation.
