STORYLINEThe Huskies travel to East Stroudsburg looking for redemption after losing 4-2 last season to Warriors on the road.

Brittany Mathews scored Bloomsburg's first goal of the game at the 41:05 mark.
Candice Smith scored off a deflection from Mathews for the Huskies to bring it within one with just under eight minutes to play. Mathews finished with a goal and an assist while Smith had a goal for the Huskies. In net for Bloomsburg

Roth leads Division II with 10 goals and 23 points and ranks second in goals per game (1.67) and points per game (3.83) for the Warriors. Roth is the fourth-leading active scorer in DII field hockey with 41 career goals, coming in 43 games. She led the PSAC with 21 goals and 47 points in 2013.

Laura Gerhard each scored one goal and assisted on another for a 4-3 win over Mansfield on Saturday, Oct. 4. On the play
Candice Smith directed the ball out to the top of the circle where
Laura Gerhard ended up with the ball on the right side. Gerhard then passed to Smith coming in from the left side who had an easy shot for a shot for a goal making it 1-0 at the break. The Huskies added to their lead just 5:06 into the second half when
Stephanie Halsted fed Gerhard who drilled a shot to the top center of the cage. Bloomsburg made it 3-0 about 11 minutes later.
Nikki Gattone scored off an assist from Samantha Peters with Gattone's shot going high and to the left in the cage. The Huskies made it a three-goal game again in the 61st minute when Smith, outside of the circle, passed the ball inside the circle where
Meagen Hill stopped it and drilled a shot to the right side of the cage.
