BLOOMSBURG—Catherine Noack (Bethlehem/Liberty) scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Bloomsburg University women's basketball team to a 69-57 win over Lock Haven University on Saturday afternoon in a PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Eastern Division game.

The opening half of the game was a back and forth affair with four lead changes and four ties. Lock Haven had its biggest lead of the half at five points, 15-10, with 13:14 to go before halftime on a bucket by Emily Daugherty. Bloomsburg came back on the strength of a 16-4 run to go on top 26-19. Jocelyn Ford (Lansing, NY/Lansing) scored five points in the rally for the Huskies.

Bloomsburg later pushed its lead to eight points later in the half on Ford's jumper making it 31-23 with 5:20 left in the half.  But the Lady Eagles closed out the half on an 11-4 run to get within a point at 35-34 at the break after the Huskies Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) hit a pair of free throws with one second to play.

Lock Haven briefly regained the lead at 36-35 on JJ Hilliard's jumper on the first possession of the second half. That would turn out to be the Lady Eagle's final lead of the game. A three-pointer from Noack started a run of eight straight points for the senior and put Bloomsburg on top 43-38.

After the visitors cut the lead back to two points at 43-41, Bloomsburg went on a big run to push the lead to 16 points at 59-43 with 8:51 to play. Noack scored eight of the Huskies points in the 16-2 run with Marla Simmons (Lebanon/Cedar Crest) adding five points.

Later Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights)'s bucket gave the Huskies their biggest lead of the game at 63-45 with 5:46 remaining. Lock Haven would get no closer than 12 points the rest of the way as Bloomsburg extended its winning streak to 10 straight games and 12 of the last 13.

Noack finished with 26 points and five rebounds hitting 5-7 from the three-point line. Sadowski finished with 10 points and six rebounds with Ford chipping in nine points, three rebounds and four assists.
