StatsLAST TIME OUT> The Huskies stopped upset-minded Lock Haven on the road Saturday, 59-53.
> Bloomsburg never trailed, but LHU tied the game, 46-46, with 5:02 remaining but a 3-pointer from
Taylor Maldonado (Stroudsburg/Allentown Central Catholic) and then a block on the other end from the senior guard gave the Huskies momentum they never relinquished.

SCOUTING CHEYNEYThe Lady Wolves were selected to finish ninth in the PSAC Eastern Division Preseason Coaches Poll after finishing last year at 4-21. Cheyney brought five new players to the team this year along with six returnees. Three of the top four scorers from last year's team are back - Amber Genwright (9.6 ppg), Kia Whitley-Duncan (11.4 ppg) and Kyra Hines-Allen (11.6 ppg). Whitley-Duncan led Cheyney in points per game (11.4), field goals made (9.8/game), assists (4.0 apg), steals (1.6 spg) and minutes (34.3 mpg) a year ago and scored in double figures in six of the last seven games of the year. Â
The Lady Wolves are again led by Hines-Allen who averages 13.5 ppg this year while shooting over 44 percent from the floor and scoring in double figures 13 times including 20 or more points three times with a high of 25 vs. Mansfield on Nov. 22. Whitley-Duncan has found double figures eight times as well as a season-best 17 points vs. Shippensburg on Wednesday.
Cheyney was able to score a 70-63 win at Millersville, their first at MU since 1986, and six of their losses are by single digits including a 65-59 setback vs. Shippensburg on Wednesday.
Cheyney ranks 16th in the PSAC in scoring offense at 57.3 points per game and also 16th in defense, allowing 74.1 points per contest.

Bloomsburg leads 46-14The Huskies have won the past nine games against Cheyney including eight of the past nine by 27 or more points. Before the current streak, which started Jan. 22, 2011, however, Cheyney had won three out of four.
In the first meeting this year, the Huskies came away with an 88-58 victory at Cheyney behind four players in double-figure scoring.
Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) and
Taylor Maldonado (Stroudsburg/Allentown Central Catholic) each had 17 points apiece while
Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) tallied 13 and
