STORYLINEIt's another battle of nationally ranked teams as the Huskies, fifth in the NFHCA poll, face off with Limestone, ranked eighth. Bloomsburg is coming off a 3-0 loss to third-ranked East Stroudsburg, while Limestone beat Bentley, 1-0 in OT, last weekend.
 
LAST MEETINGLast year Limestone posted a season-opening 3-0 victory over the Huskies. The Saints got on the board in the 12th minute when Rachel Goromonzi took a pass from Stembeni Zhanda in front of the cage and scored.  Limestone made it 2-0 later in the half when Goromonzi scored her second goal of the game when she scored unassisted at the 27:14 mark. In the second half the Saints got an insurance goal when Brittany Carney scored off an assist from Goromonzi fed her with pass from the right side. Carney then delivered a shot to the left side of the goal.
 
ALL-TIME SERIESThe Huskies and the Saints are all even in the series, 1-1.
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURGThe Huskies are led in scoring this season by 
Sam Peters (Harrisburg/Mifflin County) who has five goals for 10 points, while 
Whitney Kowski (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional) is second with eight points on four goals. Mackenna Mahan is third with two goals and one assist for five points. Leading the team in assists with two each are 
Mackenzie Wirth (Thompsontown/Greenwood), 
Abby Sauder (Mt. Joy/Donegal) and 
Geneka Mahan (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove). 
Lindsay Cassel (Hummelstown/Lower Dauphin) has a 0.95 goal against average with a .898 saves percentage. As a team the Huskies have scored 21 goals and allowed nine.
 
SCOUTING LIMESTONEThe Saints are led this season in scoring by Jill Funkhouser with four goals and four assists for 12 points. Brittany Carney is second with three goals and three assists for nine points, while Stembenzi Zhanda is third with two and four assists. in goal Tabria Cochran has a goals against average of 2.18 and a .677 saves percentage. As a team the Saints have scored 20 goals and allowed 12.
