BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University field hockey team fell to visiting Newberry College, 2-0, on Saturday in a non-conference match played at Steph Pettit Stadium.

The Wolves scored once in each period with both goals coming from the stick of Courtlyn Warren. The first goal, in the 30
th minute, came off a penalty corner when Warren drilled home a shot from the top of the circle.

Her second goal came in the 41
st minute off another penalty corner with Warren sending in the shot from the top of the circle.

Bloomsburg held the edge in shots, 14-12, and in penalty corners, 13-10, but Wolves' goalie Dakota Elzy made nine saves to post the win in goal.
