BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University field hockey team fell to visiting Newberry College, 2-0, on Saturday in a non-conference match played at Steph Pettit Stadium.
 
The Wolves scored once in each period with both goals coming from the stick of Courtlyn Warren. The first goal, in the 30^th minute, came off a penalty corner when Warren drilled home a shot from the top of the circle.
 
Her second goal came in the 41^st minute off another penalty corner with Warren sending in the shot from the top of the circle.
 
Bloomsburg held the edge in shots, 14-12, and in penalty corners, 13-10, but Wolves' goalie Dakota Elzy made nine saves to post the win in goal.
 
The Huskies, 6-5, host Kutztown on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
