First Meeting: November 14, 1908 at Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg 9, Lock Haven 5)

Largest Lock Haven Win: October 22, 1938 at Lock Haven (64-0)

FIVE THINGS TO WATCH
- Bloomsburg will be looking to clinch its 18th consecutive winning season at Lock Haven on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies earned a 35-14 win over East Stroudsburg last Saturday while the Bald Eagles dropped a 35-29 decision at PSAC East-leading Kutztown. The Huskies enter the game needing 37 points to reach 20,000 in program history.

- This will mark the 89th meeting in the all-time series between the two schools. The Huskies lead the series, 47-38-3, and have won six straight meetings and 16 of the last 17. The Huskies, however, are only 20-22 all-time in Lock Haven.

- Bloomsburg has rattled off 17 consecutive winning seasons and 17 consecutive seasons of seven or more victories. Only Division I's Florida State (31) and Virginia Tech (23), Division II's Northwest Missouri State (19), and Division III's Mount Union (27) have longer streaks in all of college football. Boise State and Oklahoma have streaks equal to that of Bloomsburg's.

- Senior Lawrence Elliott Jr. (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor) is on several more milestone watches as he heads into Saturday's contest. He needs 109 rushing yards to move into the top ten on the school's all-time list and he needs 133 rushing yards to become the tenth player in school history to rush for 2,500 career yards. He also needs 206 all-purpose yards to become the fourth player in school history to reach 5,000 all-purpose yards for his career.

- Turnovers and maintaining drives should be the keys to Saturday's game. Bloomsburg is +8 in turnovers this season while Lock Haven is -5. In terms of sustaining drives, the Huskies are 11th in the PSAC in third-down percentage (35.0%) but the Bald Eagles rank 13th out of 16 teams in allowing teams to convert on third downs (46.9%).

FROM THE ARCHIVES (by BU Archivist, Bob Dunkelberger)
- Saturday's 21-point victory over ESU tied for the fourth greatest margin of victory for Bloomsburg in the modern era of the series, other than a 41-0 triumph in 1913. The largest was a 28-0 home win in 2000, followed by a 34-7 victory at ESU in 2001, and 42-17 win on the road in 1997. Last week's victory was the third consecutive home game that the Huskies have defeated the Warriors by 21 points, winning 48-27 in 2012 and 34-13 in 2014. The 35 points against the Warriors was the 34th time in the 88-game series that the Huskies have scored at least 20 points. Their record in those games is 26-8. Bloomsburg has scored at least 24 points in each of the last 24 games in the series with the exception of a 16-13 loss in 2002.

- Bloomsburg scored all 35 of its points in the second half on Saturday. This marked the most points the Huskies have scored in the third and fourth quarters of a game since 1923 after having been held scoreless over the first two. The previous high was 27 at home against Mansfield in 1960 when Bloomsburg trailed 14-0 at the half and came back to win 27-21. The Huskies did score 35 points at home versus Kutztown in 2003 after having been shutout before halftime, but only 28 of those points came in regulation - seven more came in overtime.

- The 49 points on Saturday was the most total points scored in a Husky game since 1923 after a 0-0 score at halftime.  The previous high had been 30 in 1974, when Millersville came to Bloomsburg and won 16-14 after a scoreless first half.  The most in a Husky win was 26, which occurred in 1972 at East Stroudsburg by a score of 20-6.  Only five times in 845 Bloomsburg football games since 1923 have both teams even scored 20 combined points in the second half after scoring none in the first.

- Bloomsburg is now just 37 points short of scoring 20,000 since the football program began in 1892, covering a span that has now reached 1058 games. The 5,000-point mark was reached on September 27, 1952, in the second quarter of a 32-12 home win over Wilkes, when Bernie Mont scored a touchdown on a 40-yard pass from Dave Linkchorst. The 10,000th point came in the second quarter at Lock Haven on September 19, 1987, when Jay DeDea passed eight yards to Tom Martin on the way to a 25-6 Bloomsburg victory. The 15,000th point was scored by Jamar Brittingham on a two-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter at Slippery Rock on August 27, 2004, as the Huskies came from behind to win 20-17.

- The upcoming game with Lock Haven is the 89th in the series between the two schools, dating back to the first meeting in 1908.  Bloomsburg's record in the previous 88 games is 47-38-3, with a mark of 27-16-3 at home and 20-22 on the road. The Huskies have won six straight versus the Bald Eagles and are 16-1 since 1993 after having lost three consecutive times from 1990 to 1992.

109 - Rushing yards needed by Lawrence Elliott Jr. (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor) to crack the school's top ten list in career yardage. Tom Martin (1985-87) is tenth with 2,476 career rushing yards
