SERIES HISTORY
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series, 47-21-1
Streak: Bloomsburg 4W

Last Meeting: October 17, 2015 at Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg 27, Kutztown 21 (OT))
First Meeting: October 1, 1927 at Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg 30, Kutztown 0)
Largest Bloomsburg Win: November 6, 1965 at Kutztown (47-0)
Largest Kutztown Win: October 5, 1991 at Kutztown (67-19)

FIVE THINGS TO WATCH
- The Huskies will look to start 3-0 in the PSAC Eastern Division for the ninth consecutive season when they travel to Kutztown on Saturday. Bloomsburg has won at least its first two divisional games since the 2007 season when it lost the opener at West Chester (44-28).

- Bloomsburg and Kutztown have met 69 times with Bloomsburg holding a 47-21-1 edge in the all-time series. The Huskies have won four straight and are 19-1 in the last 20 meetings between the two schools.

- Bloomsburg has rattled off 17 consecutive winning seasons and 17 consecutive seasons of seven or more victories. Only Division I's Florida State (31) and Virginia Tech (23), Division II's Northwest Missouri State (19), and Division III's Mount Union (27) have longer streaks in all of college football. Boise State and Oklahoma have streaks equal to that of Bloomsburg's.

- Senior running back Lawrence Elliott, Jr. rushed for two scores in the win over Millersville last week. He now has 12 rushing touchdowns on the season - tops in the PSAC and second in the country (Lawrence Pittman of Wingate has 14). On the flip side, Kutztown's Kellen Williams has won back-to-back PSAC East Offensive Player of the Week awards.

- Kutztown has not defeated West Chester and Bloomsburg in the same season since 2011 and has not beaten both teams in Kutztown since 1983. Keep an eye on Bloomsburg's offensive line against Kutztown's defensive line - Bloomsburg is tops in the PSAC and 14th in the country in sacks allowed (4) while Kutztown is second in the PSAC and fifth in the country in sacks (22).

FROM THE ARCHIVES (by BU Archivist, Bob Dunkelberger)
- Saturday's 29-15 win over Millersville was the first time in the Bloomsburg University football program's 1,055 game history that a contest ended by that score.  It was the eighth time the Huskies have scored 29 points in a game, winning six of them, with a 4-0 record at home.  The first game was a 29-0 win over the Berwick YMCA in 1903 and most recent one 29-18 over Shippensburg in 2001.  All but the first of the 29-point games have been played since 1985.

- Before the current 17-game winning streak versus the Marauders, the Huskies had a 27-30-5 record in the series.  They have scored 21 or more points in 18 consecutive games versus Millersville and in 21 of the last 22.  The 14-point win on Saturday was the closest in the series since a 42-28 Bloomsburg victory in 2007.  In the next eight games through 2015, the average margin of victory was 33 points.

- The upcoming game with Kutztown is the 70th in the series between the two schools, dating back to the first meeting in 1927 when Bloomsburg won 30-0 at home.  The Huskies' record in the first 69 games is 47-21-1, with a mark of 27-7-1 at home and 20-14 on the road.  They have defeated the Golden Bears in 22 of the last 23 games.

- Kutztown comes into this week's meeting having beaten West Chester at home last Saturday.  The Bears have defeated both the Rams and Huskies in the same season only once since 1991 and that was in 2011.  They have not defeated both teams in Kutztown in the same year since 1983.

BY THE NUMBERS
7 - Quarterback sacks by redshirt sophomore Chris Gary (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Wood) through the first five games. He leads the PSAC and ranks fifth in the country. Gary is on pace for 15.5 sacks which would set a new school single-season record. Larry Webster had a program-high 13.5 in 12 games during the 2012 season
12 - Rushing touchdowns through five games by senior Lawrence Elliott, Jr. He ranks first in the PSAC and second in the country in that category. He is on pace for 27 rushing touchdowns this season (school record is 32 by Jamar Brittingham in 2005)
15 - Players that have made their first start in a Bloomsburg uniform through the first five games of the year (Michael Allen (Oley, Pa./Oley Valley), Alex Annan (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg), Chris Dunford (Chester, Va./Thomas Dale), Vaughn Jones (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township), Dexter Jordan (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser), Jake Klinger (Berwick, Pa./Central Columbia), Travis Krall (New Columbia, Pa./Milton Area), Tony Le (Larksville, Pa./Wyoming Valley West), Ryan Neher (Richboro, Pa./Archbishop Wood), Jesse Osborne (Medford, N.J./Shawnee), Chris Palubinsky (Ringtown, Pa./Shenandoah Valley), Travon Pugh (Tobyhanna, Pa./Pocono Mountain West), Scott Rucci (Drexel Hill, Pa./Upper Darby), Eric Schwartz (York, Pa./Central York), Osman Toure (Philadelphia, Pa./Academy Park))
17 - Consecutive winning seasons
17 - Consecutive seasons of seven wins or more
30 - The Huskies have held the ball for fewer than 30 minutes in three of the first five games this season. Entering the year, Bloomsburg had only 10 games of under 30 minutes in the first three seasons under head coach Paul Darragh (36 games)
34 - Games under head coach Paul Darragh (41 total) that the Huskies' defense has recorded at least one sack
40.9% - Percentage of punts by senior Will Wagner (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) that have landed inside the opponents' 20 yard line this season (9-of-22). He had four of his five attempts land inside the Millersville 20 during last week's victory
50.4% - Percentage of Bloomsburg's total offense that has been through the air this season during the first five games. The 2009 season marks the last time a BU team had more passing yards than rushing yards in a single season (1796-1767)
60 - Bloomsburg is 60-13 when rushing for more than 100 yards in a game since 2009
77 - Consecutive games of scoring at least 10 points in a game
111 - Consecutive games of scoring at least one touchdown
112 - Bloomsburg is 112-3 all-time when scoring at least 40 points in a game.  Bloomsburg has recorded a program-record of seven games with at least 40 points four times (2005, 2007, 2012, and 2013). However, the Huskies have reached the 40-point plateau only three times in the last 16 contests
153 - Bloomsburg victories since the start of the 2000 season - fifth-most in Division II during the stretch
156 - Consecutive games of scoring at least one point
173 - Bloomsburg victories with Paul Darragh on the staff (173-53, .765). Darragh joined the Huskies' staff in 1997 as the defensive coordinator
200 - Quarterback Chris Palubinsky (Ringtown, Pa./Shenandoah Valley) has thrown for at least 200 yards in three of the last four games (244 vs Clarion, 224 at Gannon, 236 vs Millersville). Only 13 times in 41 games under head coach Paul Darragh has a Bloomsburg quarterback has thrown for more than 200 yards in a game
331 - Rushing yards needed by Lawrence Elliott Jr. (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor) to crack the school's top ten list in career yardage. Tom Martin (1985-87) is tenth with 2,476 career rushing yards
355 - Rushing yards needed by Joe Parsnik (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) to reach 2,000 for his career
1,000 - Bloomsburg has had at least one 1,000-yard rusher in six straight seasons, 12 of the last 13, and in 14 of the last 16 years
1,289 - Team rushing yards needed by the Huskies to reach 50,000 since the start of the 1999 season (when the consecutive winning streak and consecutive streak of seven wins or more began)
