KUTZTOWN—The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team fell to 14
th-ranked Kutztown University, 3-0, on Tuesday in the quarterfinal round of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships. The Huskies end their season with a record of 9-7-2.

Kutztown struck early in the game getting a goal on its second shot attempt of the match. Maddie Mohr played a ball up through to Ashley Enger who crossed a ball to Alaina Curry in front of the net who finished the play just 5:10 into the game.

Bloomsburg was able to get a push on offense in the 27
th minute of action.
Megan Callan (Eldersburg, Md./Century)'s attempt was blocked, but
Jessica Milligan (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) was there to follow up the play. Milligan's shot, though, was saved by KU goalie Jenna Bracken.

In the second half the Huskies had a good attack on goal with
Maureen Leis (Erdenheim, Pa./Springfield Township) taking a shot that was saved by Bracken. The ball stayed loose in the box with
Allie Barber (Pittston Township, Pa./Pittston Area) following up with a shot that just missed wide right keeping it a 1-0 contest.

The Golden Bears then flipped the field and pushed towards the Huskies goal. Emily Zwiercan put a ball in the center of the box at the feet of Mohr who settled herself and drilled a shot to the left side of the net for a 2-0 lead at 56:02 of the game.

Mohr put the game out reach of the Huskies scoring her second goal in the 71
st minute after taking a pass at the top of the box and getting around a few defenders. Her shot hit the left side of the net for Kutztown's third goal.

For Bloomsburg goalie
Devon Haviland (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) finished with five saves, while Bracken got the shutout with three saves for the Golden Bears.

Kutztown, now 16-3, will face No. 6 seed Gannon on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at West Chester in a semifinal game.
