HTML BOX SCOREBLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University placed three players in double figures but fell at home to West Chester, 78-65, on Wednesday night in a PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Eastern Division matchup.
Â
After grabbing an early 2-0 lead on a bucket by
Kristie Costantino (Norristown/Archbishop John Carroll), the visitors ran off eight straight points, including back-to-back three's by Jasmen Clark. Bloomsburg came back and tied the score at 10-10 with 1:42 left in the first quarter with
Alex Ross (Lancaster/Manheim Township) hitting a 3-pointer and
Alyssa Mack (Walnutport/Allentown Central Catholic) completing a traditional 3-point play in the rally. West Chester though closed on an 8-3 run to lead 18-13 after one period.

After West Chester pushed the lead back to 10 with 5:23 to in the third, the Huskies
Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) got hot scoring six points with Ross adding four to help narrow the gap to five points heading to the fourth period.
Â
Mia Hopkins (Pittston/Pittston Area) started the fourth period with a jumper to get the Huskies to within three points before a 7-0 run from West Chester pushed the lead to 63-53. A Ross lay-in would get the deficit back under 10 with over seven minutes to play, but that's as close as the Huskies would get.
