SERIES HISTORY
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series, 3-1
Streak: Bloomsburg 2W

Last Meeting: October 5, 2013 at Gannon (Bloomsburg 38, Gannon 14)
First Meeting: November 8, 2008 at Gannon (Bloomsburg 38, Gannon 10)
Largest Bloomsburg Win: November 8, 2008 at Gannon (38-10)
Largest Gannon Win: November 7, 2009 at Bloomsburg (10-7 (OT))

FIVE THINGS TO WATCH
- Both teams enter Saturday's game with a 2-0 record. The Huskies earned a road win at Stonehill on September 1 and then won its home opener, 35-20, over Clarion last Saturday. Gannon has won games against Southern Connecticut State and Shippensburg. It is the seventh time in the last nine seasons that Bloomsburg has started 2-0.

- Bloomsburg has rattled off 17 consecutive winning seasons and 17 consecutive seasons of seven or more victories. Only Division I's Florida State (31) and Virginia Tech (23), Division II's Northwest Missouri State (19), and Division III's Mount Union (27) have longer streaks in all of college football. Boise State and Oklahoma have streaks equal to that of Bloomsburg's.

- Lawrence Elliott Jr. (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor) was named the PSAC East Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 134 yards and one touchdown in the win over Clarion. It was his second 100-yard effort this season and moved him to within 160 yards of reaching 2,000 for his career.

- Gannon's Karch Holland was named the PSAC West Special Teams Player of the Week. He produced four touchbacks in five kickoffs and booted a 31-yard field goal as time expired in the third quarter in the Golden Knights' 24-20 win at Shippensburg last Saturday.

- Chris Palubinsky (Ringtown, Pa./Shenandoah Valley) threw for 244 yards last Saturday - the most yards by a Bloomsburg quarterback in a game since November 15, 2014. Meanwhile, Gannon quarterback Zach Phillips is second in the PSAC in rushing (290 yards) and averages 9.4 yards per carry. He has also thrown for 249 yards and two scores through two games this season.

FROM THE ARCHIVES (by BU Archivist, Bob Dunkelberger)
- With the victory on Saturday, Bloomsburg now has an all-time record at Redman Stadium, which opened in 1974, of 150-70-4. It took the Huskies 20 years, and 103 games, to win the first 50 at home, reaching a record of 50-50-3 with a 29-17 victory over Kutztown in 1994.  It only took 60 more games to get to 100 all-time wins when Millersville was defeated 42-28 in 2005, with the team going 50-9-1 over that 60-game span. The Huskies are 50-11 in 61 contests since 2005 to reach 150 victories at the stadium. Since the program's first season in 1892, Bloomsburg has played home games on six fields in Columbia County: four on campus, the Town Athletic Park, and Berwick's Crispin Field, with a cumulative record of 363-173-21.

- The Huskies' 35-20 win over Clarion was the first time in 1,052 games in school history that a game ended with that score. It was the 22nd time Bloomsburg has scored 35 points, with a record of 21-1. The only loss came at Millersville in 1990 by a score of 40-35, after having led the Marauders 28-7 in the second quarter. The Huskies have surrendered 20 points in back-to-back games and 39 times overall, with a record of 14-25.  They lost the first 18 such games, but have gone 14-7 in them since 1967.

- Bloomsburg got off to a slow start in its first four games of 2015, scoring nine points in the first half of its games on three field goals and just 61 overall.  This year in two games the Huskies have already scored 38 points in the first half and 59 overall.

- The Huskies game this Saturday is the seventh in school history to be played on September 17.  In the previous six, Bloomsburg has a record of 3-3, going 1-3 on the road and 2-0 at home.  Four of the six have been against Lock Haven: losses on the road in 1977 and 1983, and wins at home in 1988 and at Lock Haven in 2005.  The two other games were a loss on the road to Wilkes in 1949 and a home win over California in 1994.

- The game with Gannon is the fifth in the series between the two schools, dating back to the first meeting in 2008. Bloomsburg has a 3-1 record in the previous four games, with a mark of 1-1 at home and 2-0 on the road. The Huskies have outscored the Golden Knights in the four games by a combined score of 126-58 - an average score of 32-15.
