STORYLINE
Bloomsburg remains entrenched in the PSAC postseason picture as the Huskies enter the contest fifth in the standings with one week left in the regular season. Bloomsburg is one-half game behind fourth-place Slippery Rock and one game behind third-place East Stroudsburg. IUP, meanwhile, is 2-5 and tied for eighth in league play.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against IUP, 46-9-1. Last season, the teams split a pair of one-goal games with each team winning on their home turf.

LAST TIME OUT FOR BOTH TEAMS
The Huskies dropped a 3-2 decision at Millersville on Tuesday afternoon to fall to 8-7 overall and 4-3 in league play. Junior Erica Krebs (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) scored less than six minutes into the contest to snap Millersville's consecutive streak without being scored upon at 603:11. But, the Marauders answered with three straight goals to take a 3-1 lead. Sophomore Ali McKay (Dover, Del./Polytech) scored with 8:44 left but the Huskies could not get the tying goal. Freshman Dana Sheply (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) stopped eight shots in the loss.

IUP is coming off of a 9-1 loss at top-ranked Shippensburg last Saturday. Kimberly Kelly scored the lone goal for the Crimson Hawks, who were outshot, 29-10, in the contest. Alyssa Lerda and Olivia Accardi combined to stop seven shots.

SENIOR DAY
The Huskies will honor their three seniors as the program will say goodbye to Sally DeLuca (West Pittston, Pa./Wyoming Area), Geneka Mahan (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area), and MacKenna Mahan (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) following the close of the year.

Sally DeLuca (West Pittston, Pa./Wyoming Area), the daughter of Ree Ree and Carl DeLuca, is a finance major from West Pittston. The senior defender is enjoying a career year in 2017 as she has tied a career-high with one goal and while establishing a new career-high with three assists for five points while being tied for the PSAC lead in defensive saves with a career-high seven. For her career, DeLuca has appeared in 65 games (26 starts) and has two goals and four assists for eight points while recording nine career defensive saves.

Geneka Mahan (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area), the daughter of Tiffany and Harry Mahan, is an accounting major from Selinsgrove. She has established career-highs in goals (5), assists (2), and points (12) this season and currently ranks fourth on the team in scoring. She was a member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad in each of her first three seasons and currently has seven goals and six assists for 20 points in her career. She has played 58 games (16 starts).

MacKenna Mahan (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area), the daughter of Tiffany and Harry Mahan, is an accounting major from Selinsgrove. Like her twin sister, she too has posted career-highs this season in goals (9), assists (4), and points (22) and currently leads the team in scoring. She is tied for sixth in the PSAC in goals and tied for ninth in scoring. She was a member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad in each of her first three season and has totaled 18 goals and 10 assists for 46 points in her collegiate career - 60 games (25 starts).
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG

The Huskies enter the matchup with a 8-7 overall record and a 4-3 mark in the PSAC - fifth-place in the league standings. Bloomsburg is fourth in the league in scoring average (2.67) but is just eighth in the conference in scoring defense (1.73). Senior MacKenna Mahan (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) leads the Huskies in scoring with nine goals and four assists for 22 points. Four other players have eclipsed double digits in points this season - junior Abby Sauder (Mount Joy, Pa./Donegal) (six goals, two assists), junior Brooke Zeiders (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) (five goals, three assists), senior Geneka Mahan (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) (five goals, two assists), and sophomore Ali McKay (Dover, Del./Polytech) (three goals, five assists). Senior Sally DeLuca (West Pittston, Pa./Wyoming Area) is tied for the PSAC lead in defensive saves with seven while junior Jackie Shragher (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) is tied for third with five. In goal, freshman Dana Sheply (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) has seen a majority of the time this season as she has started 12 of the team's 15 games. She is 6-6 with a 1.73 goals against average and a .720 save percentage. She ranks fifth in the PSAC in saves per game (4.50), eighth in goals against average, and tied for eighth in save percentage. Freshman Hannah Barnard (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) has started the other three games and is 2-1 with a 1.35 goals against average and an .815 save percentage.
 
SCOUTING IUP

IUP enters the contest with a 5-9 overall record and a 2-5 mark in league play. The Crimson Hawks are ninth in the PSAC in scoring offense (1.71) and tenth in the league in scoring defense (2.43). Matti Reightler leads IUP in scoring with six goals and six assists for 18 points. Her six helpers is tied for sixth in the conference. Madelyn Mullen is also in double figures with four goals and three assists for 11 points while Kalista Gioglio and Selena West are tied for third with eight points apiece. Gioglio is tied for sixth in the league with three game-winning goals. In goal, Alyssa Lerda has played all but 70 minutes of action this season. She is 5-9 with a 2.27 goals against average and a .720 save percentage. She is second in the league in saves per game (5.50).

Bloomsburg returns home for the final time during the regular season on Wednesday, October 25, when it hosts West Chester University at Steph Pettit Stadium. Start time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
