The Huskies look to defend home court and get a win before the Thanksgiving holiday Tuesday night (Nov. 21) against Holy Family.

LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies fell for the second straight day in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) competition, losing at No. 20 IUP 78-50. Bloomsburg shot 36.0 percent from the field, just 8.3 percent from downtown and 81.3 from the free throw line. The Huskies and Crimson Hawks each pulled down 31 rebounds in the contest. Megan Brandt (Lebanon, Pa./Northern Lebanon) was the lone Husky to score in double-figures, leading the team with 10 points. Brandt marked a new career-high in the scoring column, as well as notching career-highs in minutes (23), free throws (4) and assists (3). Her three total field goals also matched a career-high. Taylor Sneidman (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley), Meghan Corridoni (Exeter, Pa./Holy Redeemer), Payton Spadaccino (Ivyland, Pa./Council Rock South) and Taylor Montana (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) each finished with six points. Emma Saxton (York, Pa./Central York) and Marianna Maldonado (Stroudsburg, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) each chipped in four, while Alyssa Mack (Walnutport, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) and Lauren Oeth (Doylestown, Pa./Germantown Academy) each added three. Darcy Lee (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) also got on the scoresheet with two points. Corridoni, Brandt and Spadaccino each pulled own a team-high four boards, while Brandt's three helpers also led the team.
 
The Tigers lost at home on Saturday (Nov. 18) to LIU Post 76-61. Holy Family led 15-12 after one quarter, before being out-scored 24-9 in the second to fall behind for good. Alex Hofstaedter led the Tigers with 16 points, while Katie O'Hare added 10. Eight other players chipped in points in the loss. Hofstaedter also finished one rebound shy of a double-double, and also dished out a team-high six assists in a team-high 38 minutes.
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
On the season, the Huskies are shooting 39.7 percent from the floor, 25.7 percent from beyond the arc and 64.6 percent from the free throw line. Sneidman leads the team in minutes per game, logging 26.0 per game. Saxton is the only other Husky to log over 20 minutes per game, averaging 20.8 per game. Montana leads the Huskies in scoring, averaging 8.6 points per game. Montana's 5.0 rebounds per game also leads the team. Corridoni is second in the team in scoring with a mark of 8.0 points per game, while Alyssa Mack (Walnutport, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) adds 7.2 points per game. Sneidman has the hot hand so far on the season, dishing out a team-high 11 assists. Saxton is second on the team in helpers with 10.
 
SCOUTING HOLY FAMILY
Casey Thomas leads the Tigers in scoring on the season, averaging 10.5 per game. Hofstaedter and O'Hare each add 10.0 per game, while eight other Tigers have contributed scoring on the season.  Hofstaedter leads the team in minutes, logging 33.2 minutes per game. Casey Schweitzer is the only other Tiger logging at least 30 minutes per game, playing 30.3 per game. Four other Tigers log at least 20 minutes per game. Jada Smith leads the Tigers on the boards, pulling down 9.3 per game, which is the third-highest total in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
 
UP NEXT
The Huskies come back from holiday break and hit the road to Chestnut Hill on Nov. 28. Tip-off for that game is slated for 6:00 p.m.
