LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University softball team earned a split at Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Central Division rival, Lock Haven University, on Saturday afternoon as both teams posted identical 4-3 victories at Lawrence Field. The Huskies moved to 12-12 overall and 5-1 in league play while the Bald Eagles moved to 13-13 overall and 4-2 in the division standings.

However, in the bottom of the sixth, the Bald Eagles solved Tomaschik. Ceely led off the inning with a walk and then advanced to second when Moriah Lindsey was hit by a pitch. Two batters later, Holweger belted a one-out, three-run home run to cut the Huskies' lead to 4-3. Tomaschik got out of the inning without any further damage.

Tomaschik improved to 5-6 on the season with the complete-game victory. She allowed three runs on five hits, walked two, and struck out three. The home run she allowed in the sixth snapped a streak of 18 consecutive innings without allowing a run.
Mouillesseaux, meanwhile, dropped to 6-5 on the year as she went the distance and allowed four runs (two earned) on six hits. She walked one and struck out five.
Getz had a career-high three hits in three at bats and also drove in a pair of runs to pace the Huskies' offense in game two.
The Huskies will return home on Sunday afternoon, April 9, to host IUP in a doubleheader at Jan M. Hutchinson Field. Start time of game one is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
