STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University women's basketball team returns to action on Tuesday evening when it hosts Chestnut Hill College at the Nelson Field House. Both teams will be looking to bounce back from recent losses as the Huskies fell, in overtime, at Holy Family last Tuesday while the Griffins dropped a decision at Southern New Hampshire on Sunday.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg has won seven of the eight previous meetings between the two schools including a 58-53 win at Chestnut Hill last season. Darcy Lee (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) paced the Huskies with 16 points while Lauren Oeth (Doylestown, Pa./Germantown Academy) had nine points and ten rebounds as Taylor Montana (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) and Alyssa Mack (Walnutport, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) were held to just four combined points in the victory. Jaeda Wildgoose had a big game for the Griffins as she posted 16 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocks. The Huskies outscored the Griffins, 17-8, in the fourth quarter to escape with the five-point win.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies are 3-2 on the season but are coming off of a 68-62 overtime loss at Holy Family on Tuesday, November 20. In that loss, senior Alyssa Mack (Walnutport, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) scored a career-high 26 points which included a career-best seven three-pointers - one shy of tying the school record of eight which has been accomplished three times in program history. Mack leads the team in scoring at 16.2 points per game which puts her 13th in the PSAC in scoring average. She has had back-to-back games of at least 20 points and has three such efforts this season and 10 for her career. She is averaging 24.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in the last two games while shooting 16-of-28 (57.1%) from the field and 11-of-18 (61.1%) from long distance. Mack is 147 points shy of reaching 1,000 for her collegiate career. Junior Taylor Montana (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) is also in double figures for the Huskies as she averages 11.6 points while pulling down 6.8 rebounds per game. Both players were All-PSAC East Second Team selections last season. Bloomsburg is 14th in the PSAC by averaging 59.6 points per game on offense. Mack and Montana have contributed nearly half of the team's points through five games (139-of-298). The Huskies are fourth in the league in scoring defense (58.4 ppg). Sophomore Emma Saxton (York, Pa./Central York) (8.4 ppg) and senior Marissa Molnar (Erie, Pa./McDowell) (7.8 ppg) are also ones to watch for the Huskies in the scoring column. Junior Bella Ricci (Etters, Pa./Red Land) has turned into an all-around provider for the Huskies as she averages 5.0 points and 4.2 rebounds while leading the team with 12 assists.

SCOUTING CHESTNUT HILL
Chestnut Hill comes into Tuesday's contest with a 1-4 overall record with its only victory coming against PSAC East member East Stroudsburg, 71-66, on November 20. The Griffins have also played fellow PSAC East foe Millersville and suffered a 71-61 loss to the Marauders on November 14. The Griffins are averaging just 62.8 points per game while allowing 75.6 points per contest through their first five games. All four of their losses have been by double digits with the most recent setback being an 85-51 loss at Southern New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon. Lauren Crim leads the team in scoring a 13.0 points per game while Jaeda Wildgoose averages nearly a double-double (12.4 points, 9.0 rebounds). Crim is the team's main threat from long distance as she is 15-of-32 (46.9%) from beyond the arc. The rest of the team is a combined 20-of-84 (23.8%) from deep. Wildgoose, meanwhile, is the team's leader in field goal percentage at 54.5% (24-of-44). The rest of the team is shooting just 33.1% from the floor.
