2018 Football Schedule | 2018 Ticket Information | 2018 Husky Tailgate Zone
BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University football team has announced its 2018 schedule in conjunction with the athletic department's announcement that single-game and season tickets are now on sale for the upcoming season. Additionally, passes for the Husky Tailgate Zone are also on sale for the 2018 campaign.
The Huskies have six home games on the schedule beginning with a matchup against Merrimack College on Saturday, September 1 at 2:00 p.m. It will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools and will serve as Military Appreciation Day at Danny Hale Field at Redman Stadium. The Warriors went 4-6 overall in 2017 while competing in the Northeast 10.
Bloomsburg will return home the following Saturday, September 8, for a battle against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division foe, Edinboro University, before heading on the road for the first time in 2018 to take on the Lakers of Mercyhurst University on Saturday, September 15.
The divisional opener is scheduled for Saturday, September 22, when the Huskies host Shippensburg University under the lights. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Following a road game at Kutztown the following Saturday evening, Bloomsburg will return to Danny Hale Field at Redman Stadium to host West Chester University in the annual Homecoming Weekend game on October 6. Parents' and Family Weekend will take place the following Saturday when East Stroudsburg University comes to Bloomsburg for a 2:00 p.m. start time.
Bloomsburg will close out the season with three of its last four games on the road, beginning with a matchup at Lock Haven University on Saturday, October 20. The Huskies will entertain Millersville University in the final home game of the regular season on October 27 before heading to West Liberty University - a non-conference opponent - on November 3. Bloomsburg and West Liberty have never met on the gridiron. Last season, the Hilltoppers went 3-8 overall as a member of the Mountain East Conference.
The last game of the regular season is scheduled for November 10 and, as of right now, will be at Slippery Rock University. This season, the winner of the PSAC Western Division will host the conference championship game so the Huskies' opponent could change for the final game of the year depending on the standings, but the contest will be on the road.
Other promotions and game sponsors for the season will be announced at a later date.
Single-game ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students (12 and older) and senior citizens (62 and older). All Bloomsburg University students receive free admission to each game with their valid student ID. Children under the age of five are also admitted free of charge. Season-ticket packages are available as well and are $50 for adults and $25 for students and senior citizens. To purchase advanced single-game tickets or season-ticket packages, please visit
