STORYLINE
• The first-place Huskies look to make it a perfect 3-for-3 homestand when they host Seton Hill Wednesday night. Bloomsburg stands one game clear of Kutztown for first place in the PSAC East entering the game, and have won four of their five contests in the 2019 calendar year. Seton Hill is 11-6 overall, but just 5-5 in the PSAC West this season.

ALL-TIME SERIES
• Bloomsburg leads the all-time series with Seton Hill, 3-1, with the Griffins first win in the series coming on a 74-59 victory over the Huskies last season. Bloomsburg's last win in the series came on the road at Seton Hill on November 21, 2015.

LAST TIME OUT
• Bloomsburg jumped out to a 28-point lead midway through the third quarter but had to hold off a furious East Stroudsburg fourth-quarter rally to defeat the Warriors 54-49 Monday afternoon. Emma Saxton (York, Pa./Central York) led the Huskies with 15 points, while Alyssa Mack (Walnutport, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) added 12 points. Taylor Montana (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) chipped in 11 points and nine rebounds, and Megan Brandt (Lebanon, Pa./Northern Lebanon) scored eight points and grabbed nine boards. Bloomsburg shot just 38.8% from the field and just 1-of-6 from beyond the arc, but the Huskies held East Stroudsburg to 27.4% shooting, and out-rebounded the Warriors 47-35.

TRACKING 1,000
• Mack is just eight points away from becoming just the 22nd player in program history to reach the 1,000-point milestone for her career. The senior averages 12.9 points per game this season, and is ranked ninth in the PSAC in free throw percentage (81.9%).

THE HUSKIES AT A GLANCE
• Saxton has been one of the most efficient scorers in Division II this season. She is shooting 58.5% from the field, which ranks second in the PSAC, and 14th nationally. The sophomore has scored in double figures in her last nine games, and is averaging a team-high 18.2 points per game over her last five games. Saxton is tied for the team-lead in points per game this season at 12.9.

• Montana has been a force around the basket for Bloomsburg, ranking eighth in the conference in rebounds per game (7.6) and sixth in blocked shots (18). The junior is third on the team in scoring, pouring in 12.8 points per game.

• Defense has been the calling card for the Huskies this season, as they rank second in the PSAC in opponent field goal percentage (37.5%) and three-point percentage defense (26.3%). Bloomsburg allows just 60.8 points per game, which ranks fourth in the conference.

SCOUTING SETON HILL
• The Griffins are hoping to bounce back from a tough 66-59 loss to Cal (Pa.) Monday afternoon. Megan Marecic scored a team-high 22 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the floor, while Katie Nolan added nine points and Lexi Civittolo netted eight points. The Griffins shot 41.2% from the field as a team, but were out-rebounded 43-34 by the Vulcans.

• Marecic is the engine that powers the Griffins this season. The guard leads Seton Hill in scoring (17.6), rebounding (7.5), steals (30), and blocks (13). She is 11th in the PSAC in points per game, and third in three-point percentage (37.8%). Cheyenne Trest leads the team in assists (3.4), and her 12.6 points per game are good for second. Lexi Civittolo chips in 9.7 points per contest, and Katie Nolan adds 8.2 points per game this season.

• Seton Hill will bring a high-powered offense to the Nelson Field House to battle Bloomsburg's vaunted defense Wednesday. The Griffins rank fourth in the PSAC in scoring offense (74.2), and fifth in three-point percentage (31.4%). Seton Hill is  eighth in the conference in scoring defense (69.4), and seventh in rebounding margin (+2.3).

UP NEXT
• The Huskies hit the road this Saturday, January 26, for a PSAC East battle with Mansfield University. Bloomsburg will then travel to Shippensburg on Wednesday, January 30, before returning home on Saturday, February 2, to host West Chester. Tip-off in Saturday's contest with the Mountaineers is set for 1:00 p.m.
