STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University field hockey team travels to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opponent Millersville on Tuesday, October 22. The Huskies enter the game 4-10 overall and 1-5 in the conference while the Marauders are 11-3 on the year and 3-3 in conference action. The Huskies are coming off a win on the road against Seton Hill on Saturday to give them their first conference win, while the Marauders blanked Slippery Rock 6-0 on Saturday.

The Huskies lead the all-time series over Millersville 44-18-4.The last time they met last year, Millersville prevailed with a 1-0 final score.
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg enters the contest with a 4-10 overall record and a 1-5 mark in the PSAC. The Huskies are currently seventh in the conference in scoring, averaging 1.357 goals per game. Leading the Bloomsburg offense is sophomore Foto Tsioles (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) with 15 points behind seven goals and an assist. Junior Cheyenne Ott (Mount Bethel, Pa./Bangor) has two assists to go with two goals for six points on the year. Senior Willow Perkins (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) is not far behind with two assists and four points on the year. Bloomsburg ranks third in the conference in points, averaging 3.57 per game. Freshman Abby Shaffer (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) has started 10 games in net for the Huskies and sports a 2.51 goals against average while junior Hannah Barnard (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) has appeared in 8 games, making four starts, and has a 1.3 GAA. Shaffer has 56 saves on the year while Barnard has collected 38 stops.
 
SCOUTING MILLERSVILLE
The Marauders are 11-3 on the year and 3-3 in PSAC action. Millersville's most recent win comes from a 6-0 blank of Slippery Rock Saturday. The Griffins are third in the conference in scoring, averaging 3.143 goals per game. Leading Millersville offensively is senior Erica Tarsi with 10 goals and five assists on the season. Millersville is third in the conference in goals against as the Marauders have a .566 goals allowed/game as a team this year. Junior Autumn Peters has started all 14 games in the cage for the Marauders and is 11-3 with a 0.46 goals against average.

Bloomsburg will return home this Saturday, October 26 for a 12:00 p.m. PSAC contest against Slippery Rock. Slippery Rock is currently 3-11 on the year and 0-6 in conference action.
