Storyline
The Bloomsburg University field hockey has strung together three-straight shutout victories in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action, including a 1-0 double overtime win over then ranked #3 Millersville last Tuesday. The Huskies are now 6-10 on the year and 3-5 in PSAC action while Mansfield comes in with a 11-5 overall record and a 5-3 slate in conference play. The Mountaineers are coming off of a 3-1 win over Millersville.
All-Time Series
The Huskies lead the all-time series over Mansfield 44-18-2 and have won the two previous meetings. In fact, Bloomsburg has won 11 of the last 13 meetings between the two squads and is out-scoring Mansfield 50-18 during that stretch.

Bloomsburg enters the contest looking to capitalize on a late season push as the Huskies have picked up three-straight shutout victories. The Huskies are seventh in the league in scoring as they average 1.44 goals per game. Sophomore

Hannah Barnard (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) has played in 10 games and made six starts so far and has a 0.94 GAA average. Barnard made 58 saves this season and has a 3-3 record in cage for Bloomsburg. Scouting MANSFIELD
Mansfield comes into the game with an 11-5 overall record and a 5-3 record in conference play after defeating #3 Millersville 3-1 at home on Saturday. The Mountaineers are sixth in the league in scoring as they average 2.81 goals per game and are led by Dana Evans with 37 points this season. Evans has 16 goals so far this year and five assists. Larissa Motts is second on the team with nine goals and three assists for 21 points. Meghan Griffin leads Mansfield with six assists this season. Brittany Ryan has played every minute in cage for the Mountaineers as she has a 1.16 GAA and has made 96 saves in 16 games. Ryan has a 0.835 save percentage while sporting an 11-5 record with six shutouts. Â
Post-Season Watch
Bloomsburg currently sits tied for sixth in the PSAC, only one game out of the playoffs with two conference games left. Millersville, IUP and Bloomsburg all sit at 3-5 in the conference. Bloomsburg holds the tie breaker over Millersville, while IUP holds the tie breaker over the Huskies. Millersville closes out their regular season with East Stroudsburg and Seton Hill after losing to Mansfield on Saturday. The Crimson Hawks still have two conference games against Mercyhurst and Kutztown, with one non-conference matchup against Lindenwood. IUP dropped a narrow 1-0 decision to Shippensburg last Saturday.
