BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – With spring practice officially starting in Bloomsburg, head coach Frank Sheptock '86 announced his 2022 incoming class after a successful recruiting season for the Bloomsburg University football team.
 
Sheptock welcomes 32 newcomers as a part of the 2022 class, including three mid-year transfers this spring and 25 freshmen in the fall. Sheptock and his staff brought in 10 offensive players and 20 defensive players, and two special team players with a kicker/punter and long snapper.
 
"We are very excited about the recruiting class.  We believe we have addressed the areas we have focused on," remarked Coach Sheptock. "The class embodies the characteristics we strive to attract to our program.  The staff and the institution demonstrated great effort and collaboration in putting the class together."
 
On the offensive side, the Huskies added three wide receivers, an h-back, a tight end, one running back, three quarterbacks, and three on the offensive line with two linemen and a tackle. Defensively, Sheptock added eight defensive backs, five defensive linemen, four defensive tackles, and five linebackers.

The Huskies also added a long snapper and a kicker/punter to the roster.
