BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University football unveiled its 2022 competition schedule Friday afternoon, featuring six home games at Danny Hale Field and Redman Stadium.

Homecoming and Parents & Family Weekend is set for October 21-23. The Huskies will host East Stroudsburg University on Saturday afternoon, with kick-off set for 2:00 pm. Â

The Huskies open the season at home when they host Stonehill College at 2:00 pm. It is the third year in a row the Huskies and Skyhawks have opened the season against one another. BU and Stonehill are knotted at 4-4 in the all-time series.

The Huskies look to rebound under third-year head coach
Frank Sheptock from a 3-8 2021 campaign. Three Huskies earned All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East honors last year, including returning running back
Kaleb Monaco (Pocono Pines, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) and defensive back
Quentin Gaskill (Waynesboro, Pa./Waynesboro).

The Huskies remain home for the second week of the season with a host of Clarion University on September 10 in the first PSAC East/West cross-over before hitting the road to Edinboro University on September 17.

Bloomsburg returns home on September 24 when the Huskies host Shippensburg University at Redman for a 2:00 pm kick-off. West Chester University is slated to visit Bloomsburg on October 1 for a 6:00 pm Think Pink game.

The Huskies travel for the next two weeks of the season. Bloomsburg and Kutztown University are set for a PSAC contest on October 8 before traveling to Lock Haven University on October 15.

After the Homecoming against ESU on October 22, the Huskies will travel to Shepherd University on October 29 to wrap up the second month of the season.

Bloomsburg is set to host Millersville in its final home game and senior day on November 5. Kick-off is set for 2:00 pm.

The Huskies are scheduled to wrap up the season at IUP at 12:00 pm on November 12, but the opponent is subject to change depending on the top seed from each division.

The Spring season started on Wednesday. The Huskies will play in their annual Maroon & Gold game on April 22. Game time is set for 6:00 pm at Redman Stadium and is free for the public.
