The Huskies will be graduating eight seniors: outfielder Danielle Barnes (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh), outfielder Erin DelPierre (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin), outfielder Annika Gemberling (Denver, N.C./East Lincoln), first baseman Nicolette Ray (Abington, Pa./Abington), outfielder Rebecca Rossi (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton Area), shortstop Sammi Starr (Berwick, Pa./Berwick Area), catcher/ first baseman Paige Thomas (Wilmington, Del./St. Mark's) and second baseman Alexis Wetzler (Bellefonte, Pa./Bellefonte Area High School).

The Huskies and Bald Eagles split a doubleheader with LHU taking the first game, 5-1 and the Huskies closing out the doubleheader with a 12-4 win in six innings in the second game.

The Huskies and the Bald Eagles had a scoreless game until the top of the fourth when Lock Haven's Sydney Arrigale was able to smack a home run to break the 0-0 tie. The Huskies were unable to get on the board and Lock Haven was able to collect four more runs in the top of the sixth. Amanda Criss doubled down to left field to send her two teammates home for the 3-1 lead over the Huskies. Lock Haven was able to get two more runs off Freshman pitcher Callie Sowers (Irwin, Pa/Hempfield Area) before the game was taken into the bottom of the sixth.

The Huskies kept Lock Haven at bay for the shutout as Alex Iseminger (Everett, Pa./Everett Area) came home off a wild pitch from Lock Haven pitcher Madison Waltman but the one run was all BU managed in the inning. Sowers was able to hold off Lock Haven in the top of the seventh with no hits but the Bald Eagles took game one, 5-1.

Lenner and Ray led the Huskies, both going 1-for-3 and Iseminger scored the only run for the Huskies.

Sowers fell short of a win and dropped to her counterpart, Madison Waltman. With the loss, Sowers drops to an overall record of 11-6 while Madison Waltman advances to a record of 11-8.

Lock Haven did not waste any time getting the ball moving in the second game as the Bald Eagles posted two runs in the top of the first. The Huskies remained scoreless until the second inning when catcher Emma Little (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn-Trafford) singled down to left field to drive Erin DelPierre (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) home to score for the first run for the Huskies. Kayleigh Lenner (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) closed the gap and took the lead as she hit a perfect double out to center field to send home Wetzler, Little and Bella Culp (Harrisburg, Pa/Central Dauphin) home for a 4-2 lead.

Lock Haven quickly retaliated as the Bald Eagles collected one more run to narrow the gap, 4-3.

Barnes collected her 26th RBI of the season as she singled to left field for Iseminger to grab the fifth run for the Huskies.

Bloomsburg extended its lead in the fifth inning as they totaled three runs for the 8-4 lead. Little hit a sacrifice fly ball to right field to push Barnes home for her 22nd run of the season. Lenner, who led the Huskies offensively, doubled to center field and was able to advance to third base on the throw. Wetzler had the opportunity to sneak home and grabbed the seventh run just before Lenner came home on a passed ball for the final run of the inning. The Huskies got off four hits, three runs and only left one on base.

The momentum kept rolling for the Huskies going into the sixth inning as Iseminger scored off a wild pitch with bases loaded. Little reset at the plate and popped off a double to send Culp and Barnes home for a seven-run lead, 11-4, just one shy of ending the game early.
