Women's Soccer Draws with No. 7 Kutztown, 0-0

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's soccer team forced a scoreless draw on Senior Night against Kutztown in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup against No. 7 Kutztown on Wednesday night.
 
Bloomsburg (6-4-5, 6-3-4 PSAC East) took control of the pace early on, recording the first shot of the game just 94 seconds in. The Huskies outpaced Kutztown (11-0-5, 10-0-4) for much of the first half, holding the Golden Bears to just one shot.
 
Bloomsburg posted six shots in the first half, four of which were on target. The first shot from KU came in the 40th minute from Lexy Endres, though Riley Spingler (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) made the stop.
 
Kutztown turned the momentum around on the Huskies in the second half, holding Bloomsburg to without a shot for the first 17 minutes.
 
While both sides had chances in the second half, neither team found the back of the net and each recorded their fifth draw of the season.
 
The Huskies outshot the Golden Bears 14-8, while finishing with a 7-3 advantage in shots on goal.
 
Lauren Bull (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) led the team in shots with five, including three on goal, while Ellie Rowe (Hetlerville, Pa./Central Columbia) recorded a pair of shots on goal.
 
Bloomsburg returns to action on Saturday, October 28 for a road contest against West Chester at noon.
