KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's soccer team was eliminated from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament by No. 12 Kutztown, 2-0.

After two scoreless draws against Bloomsburg (8-6-5) in their regular season matchups, the top-seeded Golden Bears (14-0-5) stuck first in the 40th minute. Lexy Endres notched her eighth goal of the season to give KU the lead heading into halftime.

The Huskies came out in the second half with energy after being held without a shot on goal in the opening 45.
Lauren Bull (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) recorded the first shot of the half in the 48th minute, though Cassandra Baker made the save.

Sydney Hoover (Davie, Fla./Western) posted a pair of shots from the top of the box in the 56th and 58th minute that Baker corralled the ball to keep the Kutztown lead.

The Golden Bears turned the momentum back in their favor, firing three shots on goal in a two-and-a-half-minute span, all of which were stopped by
Alexa Ryan (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus).

KU extended the lead in the 73rd minute off a shot by Bridget Curtis.

Bloomsburg was unable to find an answer and ultimately fell 2-0 in the quarterfinals.

Hoover finished the game with two shots on goal while the Golden Bears posted a 5-4 advantage in shots on goal.
