WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's tennis team fell to the West Chester University Golden Rams, 4-3, Saturday afternoon.
 
West Chester got on the board first with the doubles-point victory. WCU swept the doubles matches for a 1-0 lead.
 
Jen McDonald (Melbourne, Australia/Brentwood Secondary College) won at No. 5 singles, 6-4, 6-2, while Lia-Sophie Seele (Mülheim, NRW, Germany/Luisenschule) won a competitive and back-and-forth match at No. 4 singles. Seele won the first set 6-4 but dropped the second set 6-3 to force a tie-breaking set. She came back and won the third set 7-6 after taking the tie-break, 10-2.
 
Lexi Quackenbush (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) battled back for a three-set win at No. 1 singles. Quackenbush dropped the first set 6-3 and came back for a 6-2 win in set two. She closed out the match with a 6-3 win in set three.

The Huskies return to action on Tuesday, April 9 when they welcome Lock Haven to Burt Reese Tennis Center for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East contest.
